Use EMu to send event-based alerts?

Use EMu to send event-based alerts?

Hi team,

We've been wondering if there is a way to set up some sort of alert that is launched by a specific trigger, say, when a particular group of records is edited, or an action by a specific user, changes to certain fields, etc.

Would there be a way to use Audit Trail criteria to trigger a task, for instance? As in "email the collections manager if this sensitive set of records is modified"? Has anyone had any luck with something like this?

Thanks,
Sam

Re: Use EMu to send event-based alerts?

Hi Sam,

You might possibly be able to do this by using a perl script and the emuperiodic program.  Have your developers look at the EMu help page  "Periodic tasks" for more information.  If you need additional help, please feel free to put in a support call and we'll see what we can do.

Regards,
Deb
