Faq generalOnce the contract has been signed, the following steps are taken:

  • The institution arranges for installation of the EMu server and provides us with remote access.
  • We install a training version of EMu to aid with the data mapping and screen design processes.
  • The institution provides us with a full export of all data sources to be converted.
  • We provide the institution with a spreadsheet to map their current data to the standard EMu modules and the EMu Catalogue module that will be configured for the institution's requirements.
  • The institution completes the spreadsheet and returns it to us.
  • We prepare the screen layouts based on the spreadsheet.
  • We provide the institution with screen shots of the screen layouts for review or installs the screen shots remotely on the institution's server.
  • The institution reviews the screens.
  • We make any changes arising from the review and resubmits the screens to the institution.
  • The institution approves the screens.
  • We proceed with data conversion.
  • We install the converted data on the institution's server for review.
  • The institution reviews the converted data.
  • We make data conversion changes arising from the review.
  • The institution reviews and accepts data conversion.
  • The institution provides us with a final data export.
  • We perform a final conversion.
  • We provide training.
  • The system goes live.
  • The institution performs acceptance testing.
  • We rectify any items identified during acceptance testing.
  • The institution accepts the system.
